There are highly respected research polls all over the damn place for YEARS that say people believe healthcare needs fixed. They just want results. Real change. It’s called the internet. Fucking look it up. Don’t make it up. I’ll get you started, go here.

Just because Republicans say that “people don’t want this” over and over and over and over and over and over fucking over, does not make it true. And citing polls now where people don’t approve of the way Obama and congress are handling this issue do not count. Hell, I don’t approve of the way our bought-and-paid-for congress are handling things. I don’t think they are changing enough. And I don’t think Obama is progressive enough. The fact remains that people want healthcare in this country fixed. And they’ve wanted this for years.

Look at this for instance, the aggregate of all polls on Healthcare that is often cited as proof people don’t want this. But note where we were in January - 80% agree we need change on healthcare. But once the political theater began all of the questions get tied to Obama and Congress in some way and each have a variation of wording. When you return to the fundamental question, “Is our Healthcare System broken?” Everyone agrees that YES it is broken, and you will see that 80% return if we don’t get shit done.

As a father of two very young daughters there are many things I should be more worried about. Still, one fear of mine that I can’t put aside is that someday she is going to love idiotic fucking music.

The girls in this video can sing - true. But between the dumbass song and the brain-dead older sisters’ enthusiasm for it, I only feel sorry for the younger ones. I want to save them from the tragedy.
